We could rent bikes for a day to explore the area and cycle along Danube river. The breakfast was amazing with great selection. Reception staff was very helpful. The only negative is that the outside parking doesn’t have enough spaces for such big hotel, there is a big underground carpark for €16 a day which we thought it’s quite a lot and we thought...

“Sehr nettes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal in wunderschöner Umgebung, viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Essen (besonders das Frühstück!) war ausgezeichnet, Zimmer sind nett, wenn auch nicht sehr hell durch die kleinen Fenster. Ich persönlich fand die zwei zusammengestellten Einzelbetten als störend (extreme Spalte!), sauber und gemütlich war es aber allemal. ”

Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great.
