“One O Eight was the perfect stay. The room and property was spotless (the bath in the room was such a night treat), and the staff were all incredibly lovely. I opted for a hotel pickup from the airport as a solo female traveller and it was fairly priced and not much more than an Uber & I really enjoyed chatting with the lovely driver that collected me. “Room were in a good condition except for when it rained the bathroom was flooded with water abit . Gate assistance for opening and closing was a challenge as land and mobile numbers remained unanswered as well as gate intercom . Maybe they should alert guests when functions are being held as the one night we were unable to sleep due to noise levels :-( .... Over rall the room was clean , beds lovely size and jacuzzi a nice feature , breakfast was absolutely brilliant - good service. ”

“On 8 August 2023 at 13:21, I called Acre of Africa Guest House to open the gate. They answered and said they will open the gate. In South Africa, too many people have hijacked at gates so I left rather than wait for them to respond. They finally called me back 17 minutes later. - but by then it was too late. Waiting for them to open the gate at night could have resulted in my kidnapping and murder - it's a scary thought. Now they're telling me they won't refund my money because I didn't wait at...

“When we arrived at the hotel we were told that they had not received payment from hotels.com. We could only check-in after paying again. Since we were tired after a long journey we paid for the room again. Now we a struggling to get a refund. The room was great. A bit noisy because it was next to a busy road with heavy trucks passing late at night. Staff are very friendly and helpful. ”
