“The hotel is a “one of a kind”. Located in the historic part of Quito in a former large colonial home. The ornamental paintings on all the walls create an indoor garden atmosphere. Our room was quite large with a comfortable king size bed. The washroom is well appointed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Eggs are made to order. The artisanal bread was a nice touch. There is no elevator, so ask for a room on a lower floor if you have mobility challenges or think the high altitude might make...

“We really enjoyed our stay. We had the Amazon (luxury) room and it was great. Loved the bed ! Firm and really comfortable! Soaker tub and complimentary wine was also nice. However, there were a couple of issues during our stay. The building uses a solar water heating system instead of gas, and unfortunately there was no hot water for one full day.
