“What a wonderful place to visit old Florida style living. The room was very clean. The check in was easy and welcoming. The view is breathtaking. If you need a place to unwind, relax, and just reboot, this is the place. I came here to be still and be closer to God. ”

“Very old hotel, unfortunately also the furnishings, as well as the mattresses and the very squeaky bed. Bad cleaning, mildew on the shower curtains and hair all over the place. The curtains do not darken perfectly, so in the morning light penetrates the window very early. “We had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a beautiful lake across from the entrance. The property is beautiful and full of southern charm. The room we stayed in was the Captain’s Room which is nautical themed and featured a jacuzzi tub (I unfortunately didn’t get to test out the jacuzzi function though). It was adorably decorated and very cozy. Breakfast service in the morning takes place in the common area of the office. Everything was delicious...

“We booked this room for a wedding ceremony. We stayed for 3 days. The room we stayed in was great. The pillows were ok, but I recommend better pillows. There was some minor damage to a cabinet in our room and we advised the desk attendant of the damage. ”

“Air conditioner was not the best but after I told the front desk they offered to move me to a different room. We didn’t bother because it was not horrible just not as cooling as we like but it did an ok job. Staff was great, room was clean and acceptable, price for what you got was amazing!”
