Baite a Lake Brownwood

“No access to enter lobby to check in. Had to stand outside at small window in the 100*+ weather. The photos of the room online were misleading! The trim on the overhang in front of our room was hanging down and blocking our doorway. The management came after we were in our rooms to repair it. Not sure why they didn’t put us in a different room? Towels were threadbare and had a terrible smell. The room was very dated. Only positive was it appeared clean.”

“Pretty affordable and in decent shape for a one night sleep rest. The front desk Owner gentleman was real nice and very handsome. The room was pretty clean, except for a corner edges on the floor, where you could tell it had not been properly cleaned and mopped in a while. The bed was a king size and pretty comfy. The rest of the room appeared decently clean. The restroom and bathtub were pretty clean as well, again, just for corner edges on the floors where you could tell it had not...

“Location is in a bad part of town. The bed is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on, we were barely able to get sleep due to the cars riding though the neighborhood with loud bass and doing burnouts too.”

“If you pass on this place it's your loss. Super quaint and very clean. Well thought out so it has all the essentials you need. Remember this is in-town so will not be as quiet as if you are in a cabin in the woods. Just a little small town noise, was actually enjoyable to us. I highly recommend a stay here for a night or two.”
