Vacanze Lakeville

This is our second time staying at this facility. They were able to check us in right away so we can get to our room. It was an extremely hot weekend. Upon entering our room, we realize that our air-conditioning was not working. We went down to the front desk and they sent somebody up immediately to look at it. They asked us to wait 30 minutes and see if it would get better. We tried to shower and we were sweating while taking our shower. We called down and let them know and they changed us over to another room. We were grateful for the quick service we got from them. Sometimes things break, but how you handle them is what makes the difference in this hotel stepped up to the plate and took care of business. I appreciate all the efforts.

Nice and quiet place to stay.

Everything was great all employees were very nice and polite. I have to say all that needs work is all those fumes in the hotel hallways from the air conditioner areno good for your health.

Room was clean and ready for our early arrival. They have everything for your beach stay for a fee carts, chairs and umbrellas. The beach pass was an extra fee but it’s semi private not so crowded. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking.

We stayed here previously when Foxwoods was running it pre Covid. Was closed for 6-yrs 2020- May 2026 Was expecting a completely remodeled/updated place since it just reopened the month before our stay. Granted they might be doing more updates. Freshly painted caution yellow curbs but they forgot to scrape off all the previous paint that was heavily peeling. Seemed to me that the hall ceiling tiles should be replaced or repainted, none broken but seemed discolored from age. Only one ice machine working in back building second floor, one other in front building not working. Courtyard was a large area with gazebo, only one trash container that was full. Pavers need some work. Some of Hall carpeting stained several places doesn’t appear that it was replaced. Room was very clean, few odds n ends like they used painters caulk (should be silicone)along floor/tub and was cracking. No door stop rubber on door so bath door would bang on tile. Shower spout handle ring to wall not secure to wall, large gap I know it might seem like nitpicking but like I mentioned we were expecting freshly renovated reopening for our stay 6~weeks after reopening Overall was a good place to stay, reasonably priced , staff was good, continental breakfast was good.
