“Lovely traditional seaside hotel in Largs, ideally placed for the beach. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and our hosts were so friendly and nice. My adult daughter and I stayed for 2 nights with our dogs and we had a fabulous time. Thank you :-)”

The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was within walking distance of many dining options and breakfast was on site and tasty. The staff were also very nice.

La struttura è un po' datata, l'organizzazione non è efficiente (tempi di attesa lunghi al check-in e indisponibilità di una camera matrimoniale - ci è stata assegnata, invece, una camera con due letti). Il parcheggio è a pagamento e molto caro. A parte la posizione (di fronte all'aeroporto), non ci sono altre ragioni che spingano a consigliare questo hotel, che non è affatto economico.”

“The hotel is in a lovely setting and the main house looks very charming. I had booked into the annexe into one of the express rooms. I arrived at 11 at night at Prestwick airport so was using the hotel as a stopping off location. The rooms are very basic and a little old fashioned, but clean and comfortable and excellent value for money. I had breakfast in the main part of the hotel which was very comfortable. I would certainly recommend the hotel.”

“La sensazione è proprio quella di trovarsi in un castello di qualche secolo fa. Arrivi e rimani a bocca aperta....ti sembra di entrare in una favola. Personale accogliente, struttura ben tenuta, camera in torre (la nostra) praticamente un mini appartamento con tutti i comfort.”

“The hotel was class , looked dated , which i like , but the rooms were like wow , wouldn't expect going into a hotel which on the outside , and in the halls were like walking into the late 19th century the i went into a room a basic btw , and a beautiful mural of david bowie and just transformed it into modern, was such a wow factor , the staff were like family , we went to the pub about 3 mile away , and the boss was there , talking away as if we were family, ive never felt so like home but...

“This hotel is an excellent point to visit the national park and Loch Lomond. In front of the hotel there is a narrow road tha lead to a splendid view of the loch, and nearby there are place where to eat , a supermarket and atm. We have been very happy with the hotel facilities, there is a gym and a awesome pool with also sauna and jacuzzi. very happy!”

Per arrivare in centro il bus 500 funziona benissimo e viaggia 24/24.Le camere sono spaziose, ma vecchie, da ristrutturare e la pulizia lascia parecchio a desiderare. La colazione è sempre la stessa con poche scelte e scarsa qualità. Unico punto favorevole il personale molto gentile.”

Ristorante salutare unica pecca dopo le 21.00 i minorenni non possono stare quindi se non hai finito di mangiare ti devi spostare nella lounge. Presente sia una piscina che una palestra entrambe di ottimo livello. Dopo una giornata in giro a passeggiare trovare un centro benessere è un plus."
