Questa splendida proprietà è stata recentemente rinnovata secondo i più alti standard ed è situata in un terreno di 40 acri. Vanta viste spettacolari su una delle più belle Yorkshire Dales. Acceduto dal proprio disco privato .. The Bothy è un lussuoso e bellissimo rifugio da tutto questo! C'è il riscaldamento a gasolio e una stufa a legna così meravigliosa tutto l'anno. Ha il suo giardino boschivo. che conduce anche al fiume Ure. C'è abbondanza di salmoni selvatici e trote da pescare. Un rifugio per la fauna selvatica per molti uccelli e fiori selvatici. Wensleydale vanta numerose attrazioni. Come le magnifiche cascate di Aysgarth e lo splendido Bolton Castle percorribili a piedi da Bothy, ci sono molte altre belle passeggiate. Ci sono pub e ristoranti eccellenti a portata di mano. Le vicine città del mercato e i villaggi iconici offrono una ricca varietà di negozi e luoghi di interesse. Anche Fountains Abbey, York e Whitby sono a portata di mano. Il Tour de France passerà la fine di Bothy in estate 2013.

A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep).

We loved our short stay! Perfect location, had a BBQ on the riverbanks, perfectly situated for a walk. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities.

We stayed for two weeks at The Bothy. We used it as a base to explore the Dales. We enjoyed seeing the local sights and villages. There are numerous sites to visit within one hour’s drive. Also, there are nice walks from the front door to visit Aysgarth Falls, Cauldron Falls at West Burton, and a longer walk to Bolton Castle. We found the cottage to be comfortable, including plenty of cooking utensils, good stove and a reasonable-size fridge. There was plenty of hot water for the comfortable bath and shower. The bed was comfortable. The small sofa was a little tired, but reasonable. The washing machine and dryer worked very well. Bothy cottage is on a working farm. There is also bird life in the area, including a white owl and the ever-present colourful pheasants. The owners live onsite and are not intrusive, but are there if one needs assistance. The scenery on this farm is very beautiful. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Our stay was comfy and cozy. It is a perfect place for a couple and has everything you need to make your stay great! It is in a great location, in a beautiful setting, and a wonderful base for heading out on daily road trips!

We had a good stay in early September, though the weather could have been better. Great walks from the bothy and easy drives in the area, Leyburn is a convenient stop and Campbell's was wonderful. We were somewhat disappointed not to have met or interacted with our hosts, but otherwise it was a good holiday.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The Bothy was perfectly decorated and set up for a wonderful stay. The location could not have been better with the ability to walk to the Aysgarth Falls and Bolton Castle, and to embark upon longer drives and hikes throughout the Dales. We could not have asked for a better spot to stay.

My husband and I had 5 glorious nights at the Bothy and wished it could have been longer. Juliet and her husband were really helpful and accommodating, the apartment was lovely and comfortable, and quintessentially English, and we both fell in love with the sheep. The welcome was warm and the apartment had what we needed. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you Juliet!

After a day out and about…the Bothy provided the peace needed to refresh. Truly enjoyed exploring Castle Bolton and Richard Fawcett’s border collie demo in Hawes.
