It was everything we were looking for, clean , neat and off the beaten path. The lake is beautiful, the grocery 7 minutes away on the other end of the lake was equally as amazing! “This small home was perfect for the two of us visiting friends on Deer Isle. It had everything we needed, including a Keurig coffee maker and pods. The gravel road and slightly sloping grassy entrance was a bit hard to navigate cleanly on the one really rainy day we were there. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in this charming community.”

“The cottage is so unique and right on a large ocean front property with rock ledges and small private beach. My kids caught crabs every day and we paddle boarded to nearby islands. Stonington was 1.5 miles away where we went to eat and shopped and yalked to locals. My kids are ages 9-14 and loved every minute here. “Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all.”
