Hotel was great. Small boutique hotel, not overwhelming or invasive. Check-in was friendly and efficient . . Bedroom was large and had plenty of storage . great hotel, bit of a walk

Only drawback to this handsome, friendly hotel is that it is some distance from main tourist area and restaurants. However, metro is close once you have worked out how to use it.
Commenti Hotel

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us and for your review. We are pleased to read that you found our hotel great and we just would like to precise our location within the historic center. The hotel is conveniently located just off the Avenida da Liberdade (Lisbon’s main boulevard and former “Passeio Publico”- Public Promenade) which connects the famous Marques de Pombal square to the old squares of Restauradores and Rossio. On the West side of Avenida da Liberdade, you have Bairro Alto and Chiado that can be easily reached by the Gloria hill tram. On the East side is located the S. José district, which is also an historic district but no so well known by the tourists, where you can find the genuine way of living of Lisbon residents, little grocery shops, small local restaurants and cafés, etc. On the Avenida itself you may find high end stores like Vuitton, Prada, Armani, Cartier. Besides Avenida and adjacent Baixa which are rather flat, Lisbon’s historic center is a bit hilly and the best way to enjoy it is to take the hill trams or other transportation up the hills and then walk down the picturesque a charming little streets. We look forward to welcoming you again and offer you a most pleasant stay. Yours sincerely, Diogo Laranjo General Manager

Pro: La habitación perfecta. El personal amabilisimo, correcto y educado y el desayuno excelente
Posizione: buena

Excellent hotel

Data di pubblicazione: 14-mar-2016
Pro: Everything
Contro: Nothing much, can't change the view across the street to the office block.
Posizione: Yellow tourist buses stop on the main drag about 200 yards from the hotel door and the metro isn't much further.
Hotel is centrally situated and handy for the tourist buses and the metro but in quiet side street. Staff friendly and helpful, laid on sparkling wine and strawberries when they heard it was my wifes birthday. Rooms airy and clean, comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Good breakfast spread and tea and cakes provided daily after 5pm. All in all a great place to stay on our first visit to Lisbon.
