“The pub was pleasant and lively and we enjoyed a good dinner. The room was on the small side but it had all the amenities we needed. The breakast was freshly cooked and excellent.”

“Struttura pulita, situata in quello che sembrava essere un vecchio pub. La signora alla reception gentilissima e molto disponibile. Stanza singola piuttosto piccola, ma essenziale soprattutto se ci si deve solo dormire, tra l'altro con una bella vista su parte della città. La zona è molto tranquilla e vicina sia alla zona del porto sia al centro città (10 minuti a piedi entrambe). Unica scomodità è l'assenza di ascensore che ti obbliga a fare tre piani a piedi, ma tutto sommato è perfetto....

“The Woolpack Inn excelled in a lot of areas,especially with respect to parking nearby, with good food throughout and a comfortable and quiet room/suite with good furnishings, TV, kettle, bathroom-shower facilities. The staff were very helpful and the guest breakfast area very nice and friendly. If travelling again to a nearby area I would stay again if the prices remain competitive and standards maintained. “Al suo retro c'è un comodo parcheggio pubblico a pagamento, colazione ottima, il pub annesso ti dà la possibilità di mangiare, a piedi raggiungi la cattedrale. ”

“Conveniently placed for exploring the city on foot with free parking. We were in room 4 which had a south facing verandah which was lovely as we had good weather. The full english breakfast was excellent - done exactly as it should be. All the staff were friendly and helpful.”
