“We arrived at the hotel and unloaded all our luggage in our room. I didn't notice right away, but I eventually caught this exposed, bare wiring sticking out from under the light fixture. I had my 4 year old in the room at the time clicking all the light switches on and off. I'm no electrician but I'm pretty sure if this wire was live, my toddler could have been SHOCKED. I brought this up to the front desk along with pictures and they apologized, but told me they were unable to comp or discount...

“The staff were perfect. When they were advised we had two worn out service dogs (we had been on the road 13 hours) they pointed out the very suitable doggy relief areas and provided a ground floor suite as requested. Nice big room, comfortable with large sitting area and a comfy big bed. As we were in transit, we did not have an opportunity to check out the other amenities. Though it is not a new building, that is part of the charm. I give it 5 stars!”

“The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were efficient, attentive and friendly. The facility is nicely located for all we did in Ashland for the weekend, very walkable. The breakfast was robust and well stocked, offering gluten free and dairy free options. The bed was comfortable and slept well, the noise level was minimal. “Always enjoy staying here. Always parking. Easy to walk to our favorite breakfast spot - Mornjng Glory. Rooms are clean. It is quiet. Not walking distance to downtown but right next to campus.”

“This is a nicely restored vintage motel. The rooms are styled midcentury but with modern appliances and fixtures. They are also clean. I recommend it for anyone looking for a unique travel experience other than the big chain hotels and motels. The location is a little under 1 mile from the Oregon Shakespearian Festival so walkable for some.”
