“We had a great stay. Although our initial room was clean and well-maintained, it lacked WiFi access. However, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and promptly moved us to a larger room with a fantastic internet connection. We were very pleased with the service. Additionally, there was sufficient parking available at the back of the property, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good selection of continental options along with made-to-order hot food. We truly enjoyed our time there!”

I hadn’t realised I’d booked a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was on first floor and we were on the second - we only saw one shower and 2 toilets for all the shared rooms. There’s half carpet in the standalone toilet, which is gross. The rooms themselves are fine, a bit rough round the edges. “We did not stay in main hotel but in a flat across town up a rusty fire escape. The staff have had little or no training in service to clients. We cancelled our evening meal and breakfast. This hotel is a throwback to the 50’s even to the brown decor. Not to be recommended!”

I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. “The front of house staff and waiting staff were great however, the kitchen really let down the stay. Fish and chips - fish soggy not crispy, pooling with oil and the crushed Parmesan potatoes like something you would concrete bricks together with and the local trout was so overcooked it was hard to chew it. “The room and bed was massive and both the room and bathroom was very clean . A little note on arrival was very welcoming and a lovely touch. Plenty of shops bars and places to eat right on the doorstep. The nightclub was closed so the only noise was from the seagulls and pigeons . Would recommend.”
