Cottage a Llanbrynmair

“Beautiful house and stunning views and location. Would highly recommend to able bodied people. Unfortunately the description Hotels.com. used was inaccurate and we would not have booked the property. There is NO - on site parking as stated. On arrival the property is located at the end of a terrace of 5 houses down an uneven path and through 2 gates. The nearest the car can park to off load was at the end of the terrace so all luggage had to be carried 90+ steps to the property. The car then had...

“The cottage was adorable, well equipped and in a beautiful rural setting. The host was wonderfully helpful and friendly.”

“We enjoyed a relaxed 3 nights here for my 40th birthday and would definitely return. The house is very spacious, it will easily accommodate the 6 people and there is ample parking. It is also well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches, the piano was also welcome! The village itself is quiet, there are lots of places to walk nearby plus a short drive takes you to the beautiful Lake Vyrnwy and surrounding forests or a longer drive (an hour and a half ish) takes you to Snowdon. “Beautifully restored rustic charming house. Felt at home from stepping through the door.”

“I think the name means darling accommodation and it certainly is. I gave five stars for cleanliness but would say it’s worth double that, absolutely spotless. Owners have thought of so much to make it perfect. It’s much better than the pictures so many nice touches and too many to mention.Short walk to the riverside if you talking a dog, PLAS YN DRE very close and dog friendly serves nice food. Good bakery close by. We loves the appartment and Bala, which is very friendly.”

“Excellent overall. Well equipped and plenty of space so you can get into a corner if you want, or need, to. Enjoyed our twins 40th birthday which gave us the ability to have 8 adults and 6 children aged from just over 1 to nearly 9 yrs old. Good memories !!”

It didn’t smell clean, the floors were dirty luckily there was a broom there so I could sweep up the last guests dirt. The kitchen is in much need of a make over, the sides are in awful condition, the fridge is cracked, the floor is all over the place, it’s starting to dip. The floor boards are starting to come apart this is due to the damp. The whole kitchen looked dirty....
