A mere 10 miles away lie Cefnllys Castle and St Michael's Church: take in the ruins of a 13th-century castle and the nearby medieval church, both offering a glimpse into the area's rich history. The Elan Valley (15 miles) offers lots of picturesque walks.
A large south-facing conservatory spans the front of this gorgeous holiday home. Step inside and you’ll immediately be charmed by its warm and welcoming interior. The bright and cosy lounge is bathed in natural light streaming from its huge window. There’s a wood burner to add extra home comfort. When it’s time to cook, head into the traditional country-style kitchen, then get the whole gang together to eat at the rustic dining table. If you’re feeling competitive, you might want to challenge your loved ones to a pool tournament in the games area. Completing the downstairs layout is a shower room with steam/hydro power shower, plus a separate WC in the utility room, which also features a shower for dogs. Head upstairs and you’ll find five beautifully-styled bedrooms – a king-size, a super-king size zip-and-link, a double, a room with three single beds, and a single. On this floor, there is also a bathroom and a shower room.
Step outside and you’ll find a large patio garden with incredible countryside views. It’s the perfect place to fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco; there is a fire pit to gather around on cooler evenings.
