“Easy to follow directions regarding checkin-check out. My room (2b) was large, with a big bed, and couch at the foot of the bed facing a TV and the floor to ceiling window. There was also a small dining table with two chairs. The bathroom was spacious with separate shower and bath. Everything worked and was clean. I think good value. The location was perfect, with walkable restaurants and bars close by. ”

“We enjoyed our stay very much! The property owner obviously thought of every need one might have. From the towels to the tea to the nicely stocked breakfast. We had a wonderful view from 5B, a super bed and it was quiet. Along the stair landings were books, dog biscuits, wine corkscrews and even a sewing kit. A big thanks to Patrick. ”

“Parc La Breos House is a Victorian (mostly) pleasure. Our room (6) was a good size. The view was over the farm buildings which aren't the most picturesque, but it is nice to see a working farm. It did mean the farm vehicles started up about 7am, but that is to be expected! The grounds are beautiful and very well kept by the brothers who live there. The lounge has gorgeous paneling and a spectacular fireplace that was brought from Italy with Seville tile inset. It would be a wonderfully cozy...

“This place was amazing. I was in the suite upstairs which was the same price as a room. It was huge with a big bathroom.
I met who i assume to be the owner. He was a very nice bloke. There was no dinner available when I arrived but I arrived quite late and it was a short walk to find dinner. Breakfast was great. I would stay here again, no worries.”

“Owner Steve and chef Marius do a brilliant job. There a 5 B&B rooms upstairs and more of a wedding/ celebration venue downstairs. Everything is tip top, very well maintained and comfortable. A quiet, very comfortable and great quality place to stay and enjoy. Great value for money. Well done. ”

The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads.
Plenty of storage for clothes etc.
Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep.
The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. ”

“Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended.
We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included and was scrummy.
Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel.

A super comfortable bed and great en suit. The owners were very welcoming and the breakfast was awesome. We had a superb weekend on the Gower and left fully refreshed. We would highly recommend. ”

Little things like providing body lotion, plenty of cups/mugs so you don't have to try to wash up, fresh milk, plenty of sockets for your phone etc and much more. On top of this the surrounding countryside is beautiful and quiet, the breakfasts excellent with plenty of choice, and the hosts provide a warm welcome.”
