“All very good indeed. Comfortable and clean room, with good upkeep throughout my stay. A perfect location overlooking the town, beautiful Edwardian buildings in the Arts and Crafts style, fine views from my windows. Excellent breakfasts, served from 7.30 onwards for those wanting an early start. Staff friendly and helpful. And amazing value for money all round. ”

“Rooms are tastefully decorated with beautiful on suite bathroom. Staff very good and breakfast freshly cooked and not from a hot plate. Plenty of takeaways nearby but we are in and it was excellent. Only thing I could say against the Valley was nobody on reception. Road noise was also loud but didn’t really bother us too much. All in all an excellent stay and will be using again as a stop over before catching the ferry to Dublin. Well done The Valley and staff.”

“After having a great stay here in 2019, we thought that we would visit again. The Dinorben is run by excellent hosts Veronica and Gary, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts, evening meals and Sunday carvery were all excellent. The hotel has clean comfortable rooms, and is a great base for exploring the area, with some lovely walks and places of historical interest. We will definitely visit again.”

“On the upside - great location near the beach, and a good breakfast. On the downside - room for over £210 a night had no window to look through, furniture was old and shabby, evening food in both restaurants was at best ‘average’ (and had many items missing)… Overall - could be better”
