Allontanati da tutto e goditi i frutti della scenografica New York centrale! Tanto da fare nel cuore della regione dei Finger Lakes dagli outlet di Waterloo a Watkins Glen! Guidi alle cantine, alle birrerie, ai ristoranti, al nuovo casinò Del Lago e allo shopping. Cammina fino a Lodi State Park e porta la tua barca al varo pubblico gratuitamente nei giorni feriali. Prendi la canoa o il kayak per fare un giro sul lago.

L'intera casa è stata recentemente ristrutturata! Grande vialetto privato (ampio spazio per parcheggiare la tua barca!) conduce ad un enorme cortile alberato; perfetto per attività all'aperto. Cammina fino al portico aperto affacciato sul suggestivo Lago Seneca che vanta tramonti mozzafiato. Entra nella zona soggiorno / pranzo.
Caratteristico schermato nella veranda laterale entra in cucina. Ogni piano è un'entità separata e ha due cucine completamente attrezzate con ripiani in granito, soggiorno confortevole e spazioso con zona pranzo (da non perdere il divano reclinabile sovradimensionato!) camino elettrico e grande TV a schermo piatto con cavo e WIFI gratuito. 2 camere da letto e 2 bagni completi su ogni piano (camera matrimoniale con bagno completo annesso su ogni piano). Ogni camera da letto al primo piano ha un proprio ingresso privato. Il piano superiore ha le sue scale ideali per coppie o famiglie che desiderano un po 'di privacy. In bassa stagione informarsi sull'affitto della metà della casa.

Dietro, scendi alla tua spiaggia di pietra semi-privata con molo esteso, tavolo da picnic e pozzo del fuoco (sedie fornite!). Scopri l'incredibile cielo notturno con miliardi di stelle luminose, questa è un'esperienza da non perdere!

Storia di Lodi
Il comune di Lodi fu creato nel 1826 da una parte del comune di Covert. Il
Gli studiosi latini che dopo la Rivoluzione americana esaminarono il territorio che confinava con il lago Seneca lo chiamarono Lodi come il Lodi in Italia che era una fortezza con alte sponde. La scogliera lungo il lago Seneca varia in altezza da dieci a cinquanta piedi. Il flusso principale è Mill Creek che include la 150 alta cascata conosciuta come Silver Thread Falls. I soldati del generale Sullivan attraversarono Lodi nel 1779 come parte della campagna per distruggere gli insediamenti indiani irochesi e aiutare gli inglesi durante la Rivoluzione americana. Il primo colono bianco a Lodi fu Silas Halsey nella primavera del 1792. Ha eretto una cabina a Cooley’s Point (Lodi Landing). Costruì il primo mulino nel 1794.

Yearly family vacation

Over the span of twenty-five years, we have extensively rented properties along the east side of Seneca Lake. This year, we selected a particular cottage for our retreat, which was conveniently located near our family's cottage. The property exceeded our expectations; it provided a high level of privacy, was impeccably clean, offered ample space, and featured breathtaking lake views that are difficult to articulate. Furthermore, our host maintained excellent communication throughout our stay and provided exceptional service that surpassed our previous experiences with hosts.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This was by far the best place we have stayed.

The house was very clean, roomy and comfortable for a group of 8 adults. We very much enjoyed our stay as we toured the wineries and nearby state parks. Our host, Bill, was quickly responsive to all questions and provided great recommendations on places to tour, wineries for tastings and places to dine.

Excellent, relaxing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lodi Lake house. Everyone in our group of 7 commented how relaxing the house and property was. Being right on the lake, with a dock was great. The host (Bill) was attentive to us and easy to get in touch with. We especially enjoyed the bird watching at the property. All kind of birds through our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Annual October Girls Trip

This house is literally amazing. Essentially, each bedroom has its own bathroom. The big kitchen downstairs became an evening hang out! The views from the house are stunning and the owner is SO helpful and genuinely wants you to have the best time. We can’t wait for next year.

We had a great stay. The only thing that we did not know before we arrived was that it was two separate units but it was not a problem. We didn’t realize you had to go outside to get to the upstairs. The stairs are very steep, but we did not have any issues.

“Gruppi dei sei” at Lake Seneca

We were a party of six friends that have been traveling together since 2008. We have been to wineries in Napa, Willamette Valley, Temecula, Asheville, and Stanardsville, VA. We have almost always booked through Vrbo and have never had a problem or disappointment with any house we have booked. Lodi Lake House was no exception. Bill Snook, contacted me shortly after I booked house. He provided me with a list of wineries in the area along with places to eat and places of interest. Links were provided for each item on the list. Bill was available to answer any questions that I might have. Shortly after we arrived at the property, Bill contacted me to make sure that everything was ok. There was booked on the kitchen island listed emergency phone numbers, rules for the house and other important information. The house was clean, the kitchen was supplied innumerable pots and pan, two coffee makers and plenty of dishes and silverware. The refrigerator was large and had a welcoming bottle of wine waiting for us. The living room was comfortable and has a large screen TV. The house’s location was quiet and convenient to wineries, breweries and restaurants. The view from the front porch was soothing. We spent time there with our morning coffee and evening glasses of wine. The bedrooms are large and have ample space for clothes. The house wasn’t perfect, but no deal breakers!

Great place and excellent location

Perfect vacation rental for our family. The air conditioning worked great in the 90+ degree weather. We used the provided kayaks many times. The location is excellent for visiting wineries on the east side of Seneca. The house is very clean, sunsets are awesome and the communication from Bill was great. We will be back!!!

Relaxing Week On The Lake

Property was exactly as posted. Communication with owner was above and beyond from other places I have stayed. A quick text to the owner and we would get recommendations on local spots for food, fun or day trips to enjoy the hiking and swimming spots. The dock and beach area are the perfect spot to start and end your day. 6 out of 7 nights we had perfect sunsets. Can’t beat this spot. Would recommend this spot highly.

Great Place

We enjoyed the house. It has a great set up and location. The host was extremely helpful with recommendations for where to go and visit. The kitchen had everything that you needed to cook while there. There are several kayaks and plenty of lifejackets to enjoy time on the water. Overall a great find that we would be happy to return to.

Perfection!

Everything was ideal! The house was spotless, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space to be hanging around and all of the furniture was comfortable too. Both kitchens were well-equipped, but we only used the downstairs one. The air conditioners worked well and the ceiling fans were helpful too. The screened in porch was a great landing spot for all of our stuff, the garbage was easily accessible. There were so many details that made our stay great. There are electric fireplaces for nice ambience, movies to watch, music to listen to, and books to read. But we were too busy outside! The location and view were amazing! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the lake, we loved having our morning coffee and tea on the dock. There was plenty of seating outside by the fire pit and plenty of wood to burn. The picnic tables on the water's edge was a great spot for dinner. There was a bbq but we didn't have a chance to use it. There was also a firepit close to the house which we didn't have a chance to use either. Bill thought of everything! He also shared plenty of places to visit both for the outdoor enthusiasts and for people interested in checking out wineries/breweries and some ice cream places as well. My family had a blast using the boats and watching the family of ducks swim about the dock. Bill was quick to answer any questions and give help if needed. Our only disappointment was having to leave. We will be back for sure!

Perfect!

This place was perfect for 4 senior women hiking the area. Close to everything yet secluded and quiet. We enjoyed walking to Lodi Point State Park and watched a fabulous sunset. Would book this place again for sure.

Winery visit

Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. The house was exactly as shown in pictures and stated about. The owner was in contact with us to see if there was anything we needed. The Best House Ever

Our friend group was so comfortable in this gorgeous house. The bug kitchen island was the perfect place to gather for snacks, wine and laughs. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom so plenty of space to spread out. The amazing electric fireplaces kept us warm and cozy and the view was breathtaking. Def click book when this property comes up!
