“Everything was good, room were clean, though with infant it was far from elevators. Overall it was good.”

“Overall, the property meet our expectations, as well had stayed here in the past. However, a recent Corporate makeover of the rooms left me unable to work at the desk in the room. A 'new and improved' desk lamp is only about 10" tall and the light just shines down on the base,. You simply can not read any documents, etc.! I complained to the front deck and they put a big pole lamp at the end of the desk. Much better, I also received a nice note about my inconvenience. I hope that enough...

“Really nice hotel. Classic older California hotel that's been recently and nicely renovated. Nice area. All the fixtures and furniture are new and well maintained. Immaculately clean. Quiet. Staff are excellent and helpful. Great breakfasts. Definitely recommend it. I will stay there again. Reasonably priced. A very Zen experience. Loved it.”

“The good - Bed was comfortable and location in town is good, grounds are pretty. The bad - Carpet in our room was old and dirty, we didn’t feel comfortable walking on it barefoot. Decor is dated. Low end bathroom feels like you are in a cheap motel. Continental breakfast and coffee are not good, no effort to provide anything nice, can’t get a decent coffee. Overall this place is too pricey for what you get, It is located in a very nice neighborhood, and the website and pricing suggest it...

“It was a last minute booking to attend a concert at Stanford. The location was very convenient off the freeway and close to good food places. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. There was free coffee at the lobby. It's pet-friendly too! It's a good place to stay and I can recommend to my family and friends.”
