Nice room near to Union Station, restaurants

Data di pubblicazione: 23-lug-2016
Pro: Room and breakfast.
Contro: Staff training.
Posizione: Shopping.
Overall it was a good experience. Was surprised to have to pay 50 cents for just a page to photocopy. As courtesy the 50 cents could have been waived.

Hotel staff was great. Helped us with public transportation and directions. It is an old hotel but very clean and quiet. Close to Union Station. Beds were very comfortable. Many homeless around Union Station but not bothersome. Rather sad.

A noisy , small and untidy place which for sure is not developed for family comfort.

Convenient

The hotel is very close to Union Station. That was important to me because I needed public transportation to get to ball games.

Ride the Metro

Data di pubblicazione: 17-mag-2016
Pro: The price was good and the room was quiet.
Perfect location, great price. Near the Metro station, reasonably priced restaurants, and a Mexican park with Mariachis and dancing. You can buy some Mexican clothes, go to several museums and get a full course Chinese meal for $5. Try Phillip's, a deli specializing in dip sandwiches. It has sawdust on the floor.

Terrible experience !

Data di pubblicazione: 14-mag-2016
Pro: Closeness to Union station !
Contro: Please don't let in animals and birds into rooms !
Posizione: Its near China town and very close to Union station railway station.
Hi, Stayed here for 4 days last week. Wasn't a memorable one, on one of the days we had been outside and the room service had come in and left the windows open. Two pigeons were happily living in the room when we entered and there was poop all over. When I ran down to the manager to ask for help he seemed least bothered and he asked me to look for the security who wasn't there. Finally managed to get the security to chase the birds away. The most appalling fact was the lack of apology and concern. Well, the positive of this hotel is that it is close to Union station [just a block away] but the main downtown is actually a bit away. Let me summarise : Pros - 1) Close to Union station and in china town [if u would call it an advantage] 2) There is a subway, a mexican restaurant and a departmental store just beneath the hotel, so its easy to find food. Cons - 1) Rooms are old and are kinda smelly. 2) Very average bathrooms 3) The bedding look old, to me it didn't look hygienic 4) The staff need to be better than this. 5) Breakfast isn't great either Its an old hotel, ok to stay for a day. LA is kinda expensive so may be this is a cheaper option especially if one wants to use Union station. If one is touring LA for Disney or Universal, better stay at Anaheim then come to LA for the city part of ur trip. Thank You,
