Data di pubblicazione: 20-set-2016
Pro:
Contro:

perfect location near amtrak union station

Data di pubblicazione: 11-set-2016
no surprises, efficient check in and out; spacious room, well supplied and fresh continental breakfast, consistent and strong wifi, clean room and bath, welcome refrigerator in room and table with two chairs, ice machine in elevator lobby. easy to explore near city hall, park, Chinatown, variety of food choices including asian and mexican. not a luxury hotel, but exactly right for overnight stay between trains or between a train and airport .. flyaway bus leaves from amtrak station.

Close to Union Station and Chinatown

We were being bothered by the noise outside. The front desk guy put us by the parking lot which is very loud and noisy. I will not stay there because of the noise and the services they provide. It was pretty expensive for a one night stay. The hotel does not meet the price they are asking for.

Good location, but mind your expectations

Data di pubblicazione: 6-set-2016
Pro: Location near Union Square and all major bus/subway/rail lines. Room had a fridge. I requested an upper, rear room, so it was quiet. Comfortable beds.
Contro: It's old. It has a weird smell in the lobby and near the elevators (not in the room). The staff can be a little salty. The area nearby isn't terrific.
Posizione: It's across the street from Olvera Street, two blocks from Union Station and on the edge of Chinatown. It's a 10-minute bus ride to Dodger Stadium.
Whether you like this hotel depends on what you're looking for. If you want a hotel that provides a glitzy, luxurious L.A. experience, you definitely need to look elsewhere. This is a former Days Inn, on the edge of Chinatown in a not-so terrific area of Downtown. It shares the block with a bodega, a Subway and a bail bondsman. But the location is very good, about two blocks from Union Station and near every major bus and subway line in L.A. You can get from there to almost anywhere in an hour or less (even Santa Monica, which took about 40 minutes, including a transfer). And I paid far less than what most hotels go for in L.A. It's definitely not a luxury hotel, but it has the basics, it's clean, it's not noisy and depending on what you're looking for, if you don't want to pay a lot of money for all the frills, this is a good choice.

It is a 2 star hotel, so you're not going to get luxury here, but it does the job of being a hotel well.
