Near downtown and Union Station

Data di pubblicazione: 20-ago-2016
Pro: Hotel is near transportation hub and near downtown.
Contro: They need more space for breakfast. It could be crowded in the morning time.
Posizione: You are in Chinatown, downtown is nearby, only 15 min walk to Little Tokyo.
It is just 45 min from LAX and 10 walk from downtown. You take Flyaway bus from airport (LAX) to Union Station and after 40 min (without traffic) and 5 min walk you are in hotel. Hotel is outdated but OK. Clean rooms, free breakfast. It is in Chinatown, so most of the clients are Asians, and staff is also mostly asian. Hotel has even a gym. Hotel is good enough for business trips but not for honeymoon :) If you like running, there is great area on hills nearby, one of the best in the downtown area.

From this hotel , take only 5 minutes to China town where people can look for food and shop around. The hotel is good for stay if it has more space for parking lot.

Staff was friendly, but hotel located in seedy neighborhood. Room smelled funny. Carpet was filthy and bedspreads needed cleaning. Continental breakfast was pretty good.

Union Station is a 7 and one-half minute walk

Data di pubblicazione: 14-ago-2016
Amtrak's Coast Starlight from Seattle arrives at 9:00pm. You'll walk into the hotel lobby at 9:08. There's not much other reason to stay here, but for 150 bucks, the location was worth it.

Data di pubblicazione: 2-ago-2016
Contro:

Cheap, convenient to Union Station. Sketchy area.

Data di pubblicazione: 1-ago-2016
Pro: Near Dodgers, Union Station, Japantown, DTLA. Clean enough. Did the job.
Contro: With location comes the downsides of being north of 101. Not a place to spend the weekend with family. Beds are hard as rocks.
Posizione: Easy to get up to Pasadena, Chavez, DLTA spots. Fun places to eat like Phillipes and Olivera Street right there.
Cheap for DTLA and excellent access to Union Station / Dodgers. Some good Mexican spots nearby. Walking distance (or short Uber trips) to Little Tokyo and Arts District. Neighborhood super-sketchy as one might expect given location. Room seemed clean enough but I wouldn't take my family there. Probably some drug / prostitution action going on. Homeless guys trying to help themselves to the breakfast (basically muffins and bananas - I passed). Beds felt like concrete but passable for intended function.
