“We went for a family stay and it did not disappoint! Warm cosy and we were welcomed with fresh bread and treats left for us. Karen came down to check everything was ok. They also cleared snow from the awning over the hot tub! Great hosts this is are 2nd visit as a family ”

We were able to check in early, which was a big help, and when we arrived we delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was. “Beautiful cottage in the heart of Barnard Castle town. The rooms were big and very comfortable. The place was very clean and modern and it had plenty of spaces to relax in (lounge, games/tv room & dining room). The staff were very accommodating also! Thank you for a great stay!”

“It certainly has a wow factor with the tallest windows and ceilings I've seen in a small residential property. The fixtures, fittings and appliances are all high quality, (sadly lacking any manuals). Best to use what three words to locate it as the sat nav on postcode takes you to the wrong side of a wall, albeit very close to the front door. You do get some road noise from the main road due to the vented double glazing but this dies down at night so isn't an issue. All in all a great rental....

We have stayed in a lot of properties and this is one of the best. Comfortable, well equipped, immaculately clean and a most generous welcome pack.. We are looking forward to our next stay.”
