“We stayed for the weekend with my mom. The home was an older home that was remodeled. It has an old time charm which is perfect for Nacagdoches. The appliances are all top notch and updated. Lots of interesting antiques to look at, but not so many that you would feel overwhelmed. We felt very safe. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. “If you want to get away from it all & recharge in nature, this is your place. Covered porch with rocking chairs and high top table was great for relaxing and the cabin is on a low traffic road under a canopy of tall pines. All the basics were provided. Welcoming and clean. Use Google maps as suggested, since Apple maps takes you to the wrong address. Owner says they’re working on getting a filter system, but bring a supply of drinking water. We were moving our son in to an apartment in town so we didn’t get to spend as much time enjoying the house and lake as we would have liked but the availability of kayaks and life vests are a nice bonus.
