“Such a lovely looking hotel! Everything was immaculate and couldn’t ask for better. Bed was very comfortable and hotel very accommodating with a travel cot too. Good coffee capsule machine (w e had an apartment with a kitchenette and living area). Only thing I can think of to improve is to have two hand towels or a tea towel for the kitchen bit to dry up (if there was one and I missed it apologies!) amazing night stay, won’t disappoint!”

“The staff were immensley helpful prior to my arrival and when I arrived a on a wet miserable evening. My room was upgraded and my dinner reservation brought forward. My second time at the hotel and hopefully there will be more. The food in the restaurant : my meal was very good as it was the time before. I had been looking forard to it all day!”

“We asked for water bottle , the lady asked ohh you want water bottle?? Like seriously, when the customers are coming to stay in hotel/motel/resort , they definitely get water bottle , some plates and cutlery, asked for changing bedding, towels or any other things . Very poor service , apart from one room they gave , nothing else they provide. Also they showed some different pictures on website , and they provide something different .”

“This was my second stay at the Royal hotel, the rooms are very clean and tidy, shared bathroom is spotless, there is a kitchen for all the people staying, always plenty of coffee, tea and milk supplied and plenty of plates cups and cutlery complete with a microwave oven. Down stairs is complete with great food, plenty of areas to sit down relax while you enjoy a brew or two as I did. The location is excellent as you have bus, train and tram services the moment you step out the door not to...

“Hip boutique hotel in a fantastic location. There’s no shortage of bars, cafés, and eateries along Brunswick Street. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveller, and the bed was very comfortable. One thing to note is that there’s no gym in the building. I really enjoyed my stay and would be more than happy to return.”

“This hotel is ok if you need a night stay to go to the airport. The room was ver small for 5 people and outdated. They were very acomodating when we returned our rental as they picked us up and took us back to the hotel and dropped us off the next day to the terminal. Overal our stay was comfortable.”

“The room was exceptional - very clean, everything was flash and modern. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. A female staff member at the front desk and breakfast female staff member were not as friendly. I dealt with the two of them and I felt like I was an inconvenience. The shuttle driver, the front desk male of Asian appearance and another staff member of Caucasian appearance were super friendly.”

“Great location 5 minutes walk to train station. The train takes you to the city. Walking distance to restaurants and cafe and shopping centre. Very quiet at night. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.”

“Apartment was very spacious with a large living room and separate bedroom. Excellent shower/bathroom and decent (but basic) kitchen facilities. We had a 10-night stay visiting family nearby and it was ideal, close to shops, trams, trains, and was quiet and safe ”
