“Room didn’t look like it was hoovered. Tv in room wouldn’t work. Shower stopped working and hot tap in room didn’t work. Other than that for the price we payed it was good and I would recommend if you’re on a tight budget.”

“Whole stay was disgraceful. On arrival there was no record of the 2 rooms I had booked. After proving the booking through Expedia, the manager told us to cancel our Expedia booking to get things sorted. One room put in neighbouring hotel. Both rooms had a new price which took an original quote of £550 up to £850. “There’s no on‑site parking for overnight stays, but the car park is just around the corner and only a few minutes’ walk away. The guest house is close to everything, with a small Morrisons conveniently located at the end of the road. The couple who run the guest house were lovely and made us feel very welcome.
