“A top holiday house 2 minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the town. Parking was on the roadside, but totally easy. The check-in was very easy and flexible due to a key safe. The owner gave explicit and easy to follow instructions about everything concerning the house and garden.She was also available per phone and text to contact and friendly. “We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!”

“We stayed at Buttercup Cottage for four nights. It is located 5 mins drive from Rye town centre in a quiet, private location with allocated parking. The studio is spacious and the facilities are excellent for self-catering. We also ate twice at Layla's, a turkish restaurant, which is highly recommended. “Nice place, perfect for a weekend. Good decor and in good condition. Confusion on whether a parking permit needed displaying (it didn’t) so waster about 30 mins trying to get past the Vrbo bots. Once we got a human all was cleared up. However it would be good if the manual were to be updated. Bed comfy. Seating for the dressing table to do makeup was a kind of beanbag which was a struggle and the lighting was tricky as there was very little natural light in the bedroom. Kitchen well equipped...
