“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“The room was a decent size and very clean. We didn't actually end up staying the night because we stayed over at the house party, but we used the room to get ready and freshen up in the morning before checking out. The shared facilities, such as the bathroom and kitchen, were also clean and tidy.”

“Clean spacious room, looks nice, there was a little “kitchen” and fridge with milk/ cerials to use. Location at Prom was nice being in the center of town. Not so nice; room at 3rd floor with no elevator and heavy bags. We hoped for a nice view on the Prom, but for that you had to stand up at the window to look down from this attic room. After 8am no longer free parking so you need to set the alarm and go down to pay before breakfast.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful and Memorable Stay We had such a lovely stay at the Radcliffe Guest House in Ross-on-Wye and genuinely could not have asked for a warmer welcome. From the moment we arrived, Geoff and Kim were incredibly friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. Geoff kindly helped us carry our luggage to our room when we checked in, which was such a lovely personal touch. “This was a third stay. Good hotel, within reasonable walking distance of Ross-on-Wye & well situated for exploring the surrounding countryside & towns. Great to have on-site parking. Owners are friendly & helpful. Appreciate being able to book a single room.Clearly marked emergency exits. Both rooms previously stayed in were up steep, narrow stairs. Didn't find these a problem, but vsitors with mobility difficulties would be advised to check accessibility with the owners before booking.”

“A genuinely lovely stay! Hosts were superb. Breakfast cooked to order and arrived hot, everything tasted good. Extra treat to have fresh fruit and yoghurt. Very spacious garden flat styled in relaxed elegance with everything you could reasonably need for a short stay. We stayed 3 nights and were very happy.
