“We have booked super delux room through Agoda with a price tag of Rs 6000 /- approx for 1 day but our stay was a disaster in this property. They don’t have laundry bag , they don’t promptly provide scissor for tag cutting, they don’t have steam iron , they don’t have fan in the room and on demand they provide a damage table fan . Their comode is also dirty and old scratches and flush don’t work. Then after on checkout they asked for someone else food bill to pay and only on confrontation they...

“There was no internet connectivity WIFI is not available also there is no cellular coverage. Hotel does not provide overnight stay facilities for taxi drivers.”

“Room is good. Location is also nice. Problem is the staff is way tooo too slow in everything, like if you order food it will take them 2-3 hours to just prepare a simple dish. Even if you order water, you need to remind them 2-3 times to just get the water bottle. They served the breakfast at 10:30 am in morning. Wifi is terrible there, it did not worked at all. Also, there is lot of noise there. There is a group who keep singing sad song over speaker, it started at late evening and continued...

“Rooms could be better equipped. There is no mobile connectivity in rooms/cottages, could be good or bad depends . Food is good , better for local Indian food. 40 mins drive from Taj hotel area. Also do visit Mustache Cafe near Taj. The place is also dog friendly. ”

“Excellent property, everything was great service, location ,food, proximity to nature like river, waterfall. They organize nature walks for adults and lots of activities for kids and family members to keep them engaged. Rooms are spacious and have that rustic vibe to it. Staff is super courteous and food is amazing. Highly recommended specially for families.”

“The room was large but musty and could do with a deep clean. Staff were very helpful, food was very good. The location is near to the entrance gate for Jim Corbett and has some good food places in nearby dhukuli. Everything was fine but thr room let the venue down.”

“This was an exceptional stay. We met the GM Mr David who took a personal interest in our stay upgrading us to a VIP room which was exceptional. He was amazing. We really appreciated the special attention. Even gave us his baseball cap for our trip into Jim Corbett.”

“Booked through Hotels.com really disappointed with recent booking made for Rio Resort in Lansdowne. Hotel never got the booking/was sold out and took 4-5 hours/talking to 4-5 reps to try to get alternate hotel which was ok ok. All this while driving to a supposed relaxed weekend! Never again will I book with you. The Rio resort staff were rude and washed their hands of any responsibility also. On another call they told my husband she will try and book us in another hotel and never called back...

“This place is really run down and super dirty. I had to change rooms because my first was so unlivable. The second was better, but still really really dirty. You can tell at one point this was a nice property, but it has not been taken care of in years. Avoid. ”
