“We stayed at this hotel for one night, coming from London for the reading Festival. We arrived around 12 pm so the rooms were not ready but we could check-in and leave our luggage. The location is fantastic if you're arriving by train as it is right in front of the station. We were back later and were given the room key. Our room was quiet, had a very nice decor and modern appliances. The check-out was at 12 pm, and we really enjoyed that we could sleep a bit longer than the average 11 am check...

“Beautiful building and interior. We came for our mini honeymoon and got ungraded. We had a congratulations note with chocolates in the room and rose petals scattered on a king size bed. Large room, large bathroom. Decent breakfast but quite minimalistic for £20/person.

“Great location for a course I was attending and close to shopping centre and restaurants. Room was clean, spacious, and beautiful! Only thing I would suggest is that it would be nice to have a fridge in the room… other than that can fault the Market House! ”
“Very friendly staff, hassle-free internet connection with decent speed. Good breakfast, the cappuccino from the machine was surprisingly good.
Room is spacious enough, but the bathroom is cramped. The door is rather large and you need to maneuver around the WC.
My room was on the ground floor facing the parking so not much privacy.
Enjoyable walk to Manor Park. Bus (line 6) is right outside if you need to go downtown.
Good bed, although the pillows are a bit too thick. Good restaurant but no...
“Vengo sempre in questo hotel quando sono a Reading. Posizione strategica in centro città, quiete, pulizia, bagno e letto confortevoli, atmosfera fantastica. C'è tutto il necessario. E poi il pub è la ciliegina sulla torta. Tornerò sicuramente. ”

“Hotel molto carino e pulito. Un po' più moderno rispetto agli standard inglesi d'arredamento alberghiero. I bagni presentano il solito problema inglese della mancanza di miscelatore nel lavandino, risulta quindi complicato lavarsi comodamente. Molto silenzioso, probabilmente perché ristrutturato bene e di recente.

The room was clean, and the beds comfy afrer walking the Thames path. I wiuld stay here again in a heartbeat and am thinking of retyrning with my family due to the location and price. ”
