“The room didn’t have a phone, alarm clock, hair dryer, coffee pot, or any kitchen essentials as it was advertised as a kitchenette. Not too mention no breakfast was served on the site. Also we had to leave a day early due to the storm and gave plenty of notice and the man at the front desk said there was nothing he could do. The price was outrageous for a bed!!!! Won’t be back! ”

We had a few bugs to kill, wet to musty rugs, dirty towels, a frig freezer that couldn't make freeze water bottles, and a A/C unit that wouldn’t change temps. “I stayed at the American Inn in Sedalia, Mo on August 22, 2026 to attend the Stare Fair evening Concert. I rented a room with two double beds for $255 per night. I have since discovered the room usually rents for $50 per night. The hotel was dirty, barely had room for two full size beds, stains on bedspreads thin dingy towels and washcloths… and had roaches crawling up the wall the next morning.
