Hotel vicino a Maya Beach - Placencia

“This is a gem of a quiet, accommodation spot with a nice sandy beach, small pool, a good restaurant and nice swimming in the ocean out front. The accommodation huts are perfect, the beds are decent and we felt as if we had our own private resort for some enjoyed R&R. It’s a short drive away from Placencia but well worth it for this experience. Kids loved the pool, paddle boards, hammocks and large beach area. I definitely recommend this place!! ”

“The property is beautiful and staff are kind and friendly. My only issue was with the beach front property. Due to the Sargassum issue, the smell is horrible and making it hard to spend time on the beach or on the beautiful balcony. I would recommend staying at the lagoon side if you’re heading there. Other than that, I would definitely return. ”

“This was a spectacular stay. We chose the room facing the Caribbean Sea vs. having a kitchen set-up and it was the best decision ever. We loved every aspect of the Ellysian - most especially, being able to step out onto the sidewalk (Main Street) and in one minute, came upon Beaches and Cream cafe, the best coffee shop one might find anywhere in the world. “This is a very nice small boutique hotel near the beach. The only compliant I had was about communication with their staff. I had spoken twice with their staff to request help with scheduling a taxi to the airport and was told it was confirmed. However on the day of my departure there was none scheduled. The staff on duty didn't know anything about it. I had to wait for a taxi to be called and this could have caused me to miss my flight. ”
