The area did not feel safe, and the overall atmosphere around the hotel made us uncomfortable. There appeared to be long-term or low-income housing units in the building, with a lot of people and dogs coming and going, unusual smells throughout, and very limited amenities. “The hotel was disgusting with the smell of stale cigarette smoke. The parking was decent. The exterior was ok. The room was freezing and there is no control of the temperature. The front desk offered no solutions. Accept telling me to deal with it. That its controlled by the outside. There was then the credit card scam. After charging one of my cards, they then insisted that I present them another card.Because it was a pending charge. If I had to choose, I would have rather slept in my car.”

“Our experience at Lang House was not good, someone broke into our car (which was parked in their parking lot, behind the house) car and stole our house keys and car fob. As a result we have had to spend $400 to replace our car fob.”

“The breakfast was excellent, parking was good. The bed made a lot of noise getting in and out of it, the mattress was in rough condition. The air conditioning was very noisy. There was no bureau in the room to put your clothes in.”

“This property is undergoing major renovations and is like a war zone. There is dust and fumes everywhere. Parking is limited for check in due to construction vehicles taking up spots and the make shift lobby is found by walking through cluttered hallways and temporary signage. None of this was conveyed at time of booking or in the days prior to check in.
