“The French Secret was a DREAM! Beautiful cottage with French decor including an amazing playlist. Every detail thought out for a great romantic getaway. The pictures really don’t do it justice! The whole renting process from start to finish was easy and I loved the guide for the area as well! If you are looking for a romantic trip, this is the place to go, it really is the best kept secret in the N. GA mountains!”

“We have stayed here multiple times. This time, the room was not stocked, the table was missing, no hair dryer, no tissues, etc. it did have towels and shampoo/conditioner. I did call and they got a hair dryer and 2 hangers when I called them. The code entry wasn’t working so we had to keep track of a key this time. The workers that are staying there are okay. “What a great property! Cozy, comfortable and relaxing! Loved the bear theme! The stairs to the creek were a workout, but so worth it! Would absolutely stay here again!”

“Older hotel. Broken dresser in our room and paint splatters everywhere. We had to switch the knob back and forth for the ac unit (it had one knob for both controls) Mattress was awful. Sheets felt like sandpaper. Good thing it was cheap.”

I made the reservation to be able to take advantage of the rooftop restaurant. However it was closed for a wedding party. If I had known when making the reservation I would have driven down to Canton instead. My room faced the street, and the room was not well insulated for sound suppression. When the bars closed you could hear people talking and cars on the road....
