“One of the elevators had to be repaired during our visit. Ice machine on the 2nd floor barely worked. Toilet paper holder in our room was about to fall off. The grab bar in our tub/shower was loose on one end. The breakfast was not very good. Luckily we didn’t spend much time there as we were doing other things. Most of the staff personnel were pleasant.”

“Reserved a room with 2 double beds. One bed had sand on the sheets over at least half of the bed. Desk clerk brought us fresh sheets that we put on. She stated she was going to tell the manager and see about a discount for us. When we checked out a different desk clerk mentioned again about a discount, we did not ask for one. We never got the discount.”

“Once loved this place. Now it's in near disrepair. The room smelled like body odor and just sour. The AC cannot be turned down below 70° F. The air vents all had black mold specs and constant condensation dripping, even with the fan to auto only. The walls had peeled paint and holes. There were pills and q-tips swept under the couch. “The condo room in tower 2 was well designed and the kitchen had ample amenities to cook. The kiddie pool and lazy river in tower 2 were good. Tower two is convenient for pools and parking, but it requires crossing a road that can be busy at times to get to the beach. The building needs some repair (pool shower didn’t work and one of the hot tubs was unusable two days) and the management needs to communicate better. “This is our second time at Ocean Creek. The first time was in the North Tower, and everything was amazing. This time we had a smaller budget and stayed in one of the villas. The room was nice enough, but all of the outlets except one were extremely hard to access, making charging devices hard and one of the outlets in the kitchen did not work.
