“The Abbey is the only available motel/cottage accommodation on Raymond Island. It is inn a unique location amongst pleasant bush environment and close to the Koala habitat. There is no food or eating places on the island but the ferry service to and from Paynesville which excellent restaurants and cafes and IGa. The Abbey has charm and pleasant seclusion at a very reasonable price. There is tea and coffee and a fridge and microwave. It can be cold in Winter but has a heater. More blankets would...

“Room had balls of fluff all over the walls and beds, couldn't shower as it broke when turned on, laundry wasn't available to use as stated in booking it was. Staff was not well presented and rude. Was outside our room 30 minutes before checkout and stayed there till check out. Very disappointed. Won't let me attach photos.”

“Quirky motel, but idea for that sale person on the road. For the price it's what you would expect. Only small downside no kitchen sink and no fresh water in the fridge for a cuppa, I would prefer to be charged an extra couple of bucks and have bottled water in the fridge. Would stay there again.”

“My wife and I stayed in the school room last night. The heater worked well and we enjoyed the new kitchen and bathroom. Sarah was perfect making check-in and check-out so easy and was helpful. Thank-you Tim with a quiet overnight stay away from Main/Busy roads in a cosy setting 👍”

“Everything was perfect and as described (if not better!). Lakefront apartment with the most stunning views. I wished we had more time to spend just sitting overlooking the water as it was so serene and peaceful. Easy check in, functional kitchen, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Wouldn’t definitely return!”
