"We stayed in 6 different VRBO rentals all over Ireland this past month. Of them all, this was the best of all. It was very clean, had an attentive host (managing the lovely restaraunt in front), it was quiet and secluded, the grounds were beautiful...and best of all, the Multifarnham area was astounding. I took a short walk and found the Abbey in town that included a botanical garden with cafe (and tea houses scattered around the grounds), and an amazing park and walking paths around the Abbey....

"The gate house we were put in is nothing like the main house rooms which are advertised. It was freezing cold, run down, beds worn out, mold in showers, 1 shower leaked all over the floor, no included breakfast, narrow spiral staircase to upstairs bedrooms. Definitely not a 4 star property. Very disappointed. "

"Nice place with a lovely view but takes too long to get to a main road 20minuets on small bumpy country roads in a larger than normal car was not a great experience there where lots to see and do close by Carrick on Shannon was not far away neither was Lough Key which has lots to do for the whole family but mostly only during the holiday season."

The outdoor seating with heated benches and fully umbrellaed for those damp days. The room was cute and had all we need. "We arrived early but it was no trouble at all. We were greeted and shown around. Una brought over some homemade brown bread and butter. It was delicious. Wish I had some now. I loved the small, quaint and extremely friendly community feel to everything. Una gave us some areas to see like the friary, Abbey Blooms & Tullynally castle & garden. The house has everything you need. The house sits in between 2 pubs and a park across the street. There’s a little grocery store a few steps away. It was nice to have a backyard for my child to play outside with a ball. The beds were super comfortable and I got a great nights sleep both nights. It was lovely to have a washer and dryer as well. Una was a phenomenal hostess. We absolutely enjoyed her home. Cheers."
