“Roaches and bed sucked”

“Tv didn’t work.. maintenance and front desk girl tried to get it going, but nothing. Surely a chain of this size would have a spare tv to swap out for a defective one, but not the case here. Maintenance guy was helpful but couldn’t fix the issues. Front desk Lady was very nice and friendly, but the tv issue has me leaving a bad review, that’s on the owners of the property. Continental breakfast was poor at best, at least offer one hot protein item and a waffle maker instead of thawed eggs...

“The room was updated, spacious and clean. It was conveniently located to the highway and to the downtown area. We were surprised at the quality for the price of the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. We would stay here again.”

“After we checked in we had a couple of problems with the room. 1) TV remotes did not work, had to exchange them at the front desk. 2) No ice bucket in the room, we got one from housekeeping. 3) The ice machine on the second floor did not work, had to go back down to the 1st floor. 4) The phone did not work. We have stayed there in the past with no issues. Not sure we would stay there again.”

“The tile in the bathroom was terribly discolored and the shower curtain was awful. Breakfast does not started until 7 on the weekend and it was late. We had to eat what was available.”

“Home away from home”

“This was a one night stay on a very long trip. This place has some issues.Homeless people wandering around the parking lot at all hours, my sink was stopped up and wouldn’t drain. I told the clerk and he said it would be repaired. But it was unsettling to wake up at 3:00 am and see someone looking at your motorcycle at such an hour. I would pay more and not stay here again. Nothing really happened but it was unsettling.”

“The description of this lodge/property is deceiving. Furthermore, the property is in dire need of maintenance and the room was in such an unacceptable condition that it wasn't safe to stay. We noticed a dead cockroach, lots of dirt, and a terrible stench. The desk clerk was extremely unprofessional, rude, and flippant regarding our concerns. We left in frustration in under an hour and had to struggle for days to finally get a resolution.”
