Cottage a Metchosin

“I loved this cabin in the woods near Metchosin. It was SO quiet, all I heard was the rustling wind through the trees and the birds. At first I had misgivings about it being about 1/2 hour from downtown Victoria, vs. being in the heart of the action. But then I talked to a new acquaintance who did rent a condo in a high-rise, and she commented about the sirens and revving engines and noise. “Beautifully designed c-can unit. Everything was well thought out. Our host supplied coffee, bottled water and canned beverages. Everything needed for the washroom was available. Great hot tub, bar-bq and hammock outside. Games, books, good TV streaming services. Very comfortable bed. Host also supplied a tent and all the gear for one person. Fire pit available but unfortunately there was a fire ban on while we were there. Highly recommend would definitely stay there again.”

He spent another 20 minutes clearing the bathroom sink drain or the water would just sit in the sink. There was mouse poop in every corner, window sill, counter top. It is a...

“The place was small, but very nice and exceptionally well stocked. We found the host to be very friendly and responsive to our questions. We would happily stay here again.”
