“This was a 1 night stay over about was local for my needs, a simple pub room, unfortunately the TV sound didn’t work and as I arrived quite late I didnt want to bother the owner. Had a good nights sleep.”

We were traveling without a car which made it a bit complicated to visit other sites. We did manage to visit Raglan Castle in Abervageny. ”

“We really enjoyed our three days here. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel is charming and quirky. The weather was very hot, so the addition of two sturdy portable fans was very welcome. We were in a lovely attic conversion and could see the countryside around for miles. Although we were at the top of the building, the water pressure was good and we could all have showers to cool off without any problems - plenty of hot water, too - and the toiletries smelled gorgeous. Breakfast cooked...

“It was a splendid place to stay. If you love history then you must stay here. It is very convenient for eateries, parking and it fulfils all the expectations that we have got used to these days. We only stayed one night but we wished we had stayed longer. Everything was perfect. Thank you.”
