“Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. ”

Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive. Il ristorante principale dove veniva servita la colazione sembrava più una mensa universitaria che un ristorante dello Shangi La. “Het wordt gerund door drie fijne mensen. Super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er wordt nog volop verbeterd aan de accomodatie, maar het is nu al zeer de moeite waard. De kok is geweldig. De meest simpele gerechten zijn super smaakvol en beter dan de lokale restaurants! ”

“This was one of the highlights of my month long travels in Sri Lanka. The resort is absolutely beautiful, the glamping tents are stunning and the host can’t do enough for you. The traditional food served was some of the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka and the attention to detail with service was unmatched. 10/10 recommend for a quiet getaway amongst nature. ”
