“My husband and I stayed in Newburyport for the first time over our birthday weekend and we had such a lovely stay at the Garrison. The hotel was so beautiful, and the location was so so walkable and perfect! The breakfast was made to order, which was a treat. Overall we had a fabulous time at the Garrison in Newburyport! ”

“Parking was extremely difficult, but because my car was small, it fit into a spot after backing in and doing 5 minutes of maneuvering it in to it. ”

“The hotel quality was average, with a nice swimming pool and very good room cleaning service. On the downsides, the hotel has no laundry and we were particularly unlucky as our neighbors did run an apparently very entertaining (for them..) night party from 1030pm till 2am. That is not a fault of the hotel obviously, nevertheless we asked the reception for support at about midnight and if any action was taken, it had no effect on the party…”

“Only complaint with 3 guests booked there was only one wash cloth provided one roll of toilet paper and one blanket for pull out bed no sheets other than that it was a good convenient place to stay ”

“Passate due notti per viaggio di lavoro. Servizio buono, camera pulita, colazione un poco superiore alla norma della catena. Per chi al sonno leggero, meglio le camere che non sono rivolte verso l'autostrada.”

“What a stellar place to stay! After a drive through some nice neighborhoods, we arrived at the inn and were greeted by a very nice staff person at the check in desk. We booked 2 rooms and were pleasantly surprised that they were right across from each other. The rooms were well appointed and super clean with comfortable beds. Instead of having a large ice machine for the floor, there is a room with a small ice machine/water dispenser and 3 Keurig machines with coffee and tea pods. Checkout was...

“This is a beautiful property with newly renovated rooms. The micro rooms are perfect for a solo traveler. The front desk staff were fine but not particularly friendly. My biggest complaint is the cafe is closed on Wednesday and Thursday, which really doesnt make sense as a traveler who will gladly pay for an iced latte or 2 every morning. The employee that worked the cafe when it was open, also wasn't traines properly in making espresso drinks but it was still better than having to ice hot...

“Posizione comoda per visitare i paesini della costa del Maine ma anche del Massachusetts. La stanza era molto ampia e confortevole: disponeva di una zona giorno con divano tavolino e tavolo da pranzo con poltrone piccola zona cucina, zona notte con letto ampio e comodo. Il personale molto disponibile e gentile. La pulizia della stanza, se si resta piú di una notte, va richiesta tramite un modulo che si trova in reception, altrimenti non passano. Colazione varia.”
