“Staff super nice and helpful, location is ideal in Miri, bed is comfortable. That said, the hotel shows his age and would need refurbishing urgently, especially the bathrooms. I was assigned a room that I did not like at first, but thankfully they were kind enough to give me a better looking one and it turned out to be quiet and comfortable. ”

“Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort provided one of the highlights of my Sarawak stay. Breakfast and dinner were both included in my price, and both were incredibly tasty. The resort offers and train/boat ride through the property, which is beautiful and loads of fun. The waterpark has a couple of fun slides. The waterfall hike is a must and I also enjoyed the first and second nature walks. It offers round trip transportation to Lumbur Hills National Park for 10 ringgit each way if you don’t...

“Clean room - but nothing like the pictures featured on their advertising. A small bolt was the only security to the outside of the building/balcony and looked over a secluded car park, so felt a little vulnerable. Staff were friendly and easy to get a grab to restaurants/ central Miri.”

“Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Rooms are lovely - clean and spacious, perfect crisp sheets and soft towels! Pool is large enough for swimming whilst others are playing games. Good vegan choices - and chef was helpful in finding/recommending options. Convenient for the airport and Miri centre by Grab. ”
