“When I arrived, I was a little worried as it is an older hotel and just didn't have the curb appeal of most hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel that appears to be in transition and trying to be updated. Don't get me wrong this is no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was clean, in a great location and the front desk staff was kind and courteous. For the price, this hotel was perfect. “Location is good. Not enough electrical outlets had difficulty changing my phones and other devices! Not enough lights! Only one table lamp in the room!”

“Harbor Lights Lodge has a back parking lot that is kitty corner from the start of the Ahnapee State Trail. This was very convenient as we were bicycling that trail. Room was clean (laminate wood floor) and quiet. Walking distance from restaurants and the harbor.”

After the first night, housekeeping took all of my husband's medication, his charger, his shoes, and his personal hygiene items—claiming they threw them in the trash. I don't understand why they would do that; since I had a five-night reservation, their only job was to clean, not to take personal belongings.”
