The property itself is beautiful, with well-maintained pool areas and clean, comfortable rooms that made it easy to unwind after long days of exploring Coron. “The property has it all & is nicely designed but the rooms are very small. Our pillows were moldy, so much so I had to get a prescription on the island for my eye that was swollen shut. Shower water is off/on hot /cold but it’s fine. The pool was not well maintained, permanently cloudy. Good location, not a far walk from everything. Breakfast was about the same as everywhere else in the Philippines, basic.”

“Nous sommes restées 3 nuits. La chambre était très humide (papillons d’humidité dans les chambres) et peu éclairée, nos maillots de bain/serviettes ne séchaient pas du tout. L’endroit est à 15min de marche du centre ville et c’est facile de se déplacer en tricycle de l’hotel. J’ai essayé pendant 2 jours de rejoindre l’hotel avant notre arrivée pour organiser un transport du port de coron vers l’hotel, on ne m’a jamais répondu, et ce, malgré plusieurs messages échangés auparavant avec la manager...

“Il nostro viaggio è stato splendido anche grazie a questo hotel. Entri in un’oasi di pace lontano dal resto del paese. A partire dall’accoglienza con un drink e una tovaglietta calda. La pulizia è eccellente (anche più volte al giorno), il personale è sempre cortese e sorridente, i servizi (bar, piscina, ristorante) ti fanno godere tutti i momenti della giornata. La sera prima di andare a letto ti portano sempre un dolce accompagnato da una frase ispirazionale. Ma un grazie speciale va a Rod....

“Airport Shuttle was 250php and was pretty good value considering the alternatives. Skylodge hotel was ok. The rooms are minimal and the bar/kitchen areas were sometimes not manned. The staff I met were nice as is typical in the Philippines. Nice view but the walk up the hill was a turn off. Worth the money? If it you have left it late to book and all kithrt hotels sre full then sure. ”

“Like others have said be prepared for stairs, stairs, and more stairs! Definitely not a place for disabled, elderly or otherwise anyone with difficulty climbing. The room was clean and simple however we were two friends sharing a room with two beds, too small and would not recommend except for intimate couples. TV only picked up a couple local stations which came in poorly. The pool is nice but not heated so I took a cold swim in morning. There is a restaurant on site which is good otherwise...

An hour late check-out, an extra card for the room, new batteries to the AC-remote - No No No - Food at the restaurant is crap. Breakfast was actually so bad that we skipped it despite being free of charge and ate it in the town instead. - Room is not what you see in the pictures when you book.
