“We were visiting our daughter who attends UC Santa Cruz and wanted a place not too far from campus. This property was perfect! It was just 20 minutes from the college and wow is it gorgeous! The cottage is warm, welcoming and comfortable. The property is private and secluded, perfect for anyone who likes to spend time outdoors. This place is a true gem.”

“The vineyard and grounds are beautiful and well kept, and the local cat is very friendly, and greeted us when we arrived. While the kitchenette was small, it was useful. There is no longer a toaster oven, as the photo shows, but instead a separate toaster and a microwave. The pots and pans are stainless, and adequate for reheating and light cooking. The location is great! It's just a few minutes from some nice shops in Aptos Village, and Nisene Marks State Park, where we hiked a couple times.”

“It took a minute to adjust to the small size of the cabin; once we did, it was cozy and comfortable. The outdoor deck is great, with a couch and table, surrounded by huge trees and the sound of a creek bubbling over rocks. There is a full kitchen with a stove/oven, fridge/freezer, and hot water (that takes a few minutes to heat up). There are several cabins on the property, and doggies are welcome.”

This beautiful, relaxing, and stunning carriage house is located north of the boardwalk and south of the surf museum and surfers coves. We spent the entire time walking leisurely along the promenade, loving every moment, preparing food from the sweet open kitchen. The place is so cute with outstanding details that felt so completely home and personal. We cannot wait to return ASAP.”

Note to owners: a little maintenance work on front showerhead and replacing burnt out light bulbs in several rooms would give great bang for the buck.
