We stayed in the budget 2 bedroom self contained cottage and although old it was the perfect choice for us and excellent value for money. “We stayed in a cabin for a couple of nights. It was ideal for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children). The kitchen was great. Good cooking facilities and a comfy dining area. The showers were good. Such a handy location to town and the lake front. Would definitely go back to stay another time. ”

“This motel was the pick of our three locations whilst we visited the area over a 10 day period. The rooms were very well maintained clean neat had all the facilities needed especially for a small family and was within walking distance to the local Main Street of Wānaka. We would definitely stay here again if we visit this beautiful place which was probably the highlight of our trip.”

“I have nothing but good things to say. Cleanliness, condition, service, location (essentially right in town, less than three blocks to the lake), parking and overall comfort. I stayed with my 14 year old son for five nights in one of the units with a loft. We loved it! Also, the kitchen was well stocked, there’s a dishwasher, and there’s in-room washer and dryer. ”

“What a gem! We loved the heated pool & hot tub & slide. We used them each night in winter! We could walk to the Wanaka tree & the lakes edge. Town was a little bit farther, so we took the car, but it is walkable if it was a little warmer. Our family appreciates 2 bedrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent a day skiing at Cardrona and the drive was easy. I highly recommend this property! ”
