“Don't stay here. Photos and reviews are not accurate. Stayed here for one night for a funeral nearby with my child. Asked for a quiet room (informed all are quiet!). Was allocated a room between two rooms that were obviously night road workers or something similar. The noise was appalling until late at night & again banging and crashing and loud talking again at 530am. The walls are thin, I could hear conversations, toilets flushing and also tv. “Beach Retreat has an amazing location, one of the best positions at Coolum. Walking distance of eateries, across the road to beach. Lovely pool and spa. The room itself is tired, chairs and mat worn and grotty, cleaning to be improved in general. On checkout, i was not asked for any feedback, no comment. I did enjoy my visit.”

“Property was really tired and rough around the edges. Chipped and cracked tiles along with flaking and faded paint, with mold in a few places. There was thick dirt scum on the fridge handle which I managed to clean off myself. But yeah, disgusting. Epic view of the water though, that was the highlight.”

“Excellent location right on the beach, with a huge heated pool as well as many other amenities. Nice walkway in a wooded setting along the beach.Shopping nearby. Our room was quite small, but there are others to choose from. Noise may be an issue as we had a couple of frisky game playing younger set next door. The TV system is bewilderingly complex, and after we gave up the tech guy (who came right away) advised a component was faulty. The complexity remained, however.”
