“I stayed at this run-down motel in the Poconos where the experience fell far short of expectations. The bathtub was dirty, which made the bathroom feel unclean and uncomfortable. “The AC/Heater worked perfectly. Room was clean. Amenities, just enough Pleasant staff/front desk Price reasonable Safety - Lots of lights I spent only one night (twice); my overview during the quick exhausted night was really short. Yes, I recommend it if the stay is for a short period of time. The smokers stay too close to the entrances/back doors. I noticed the laundry room looking unclean made me wonder about materials washed... Believe it or not I would return again because of the price.”

“We booked this bed and breakfast for a weekend marriage conference. Before arriving we were called and told that they had to move our room to the carriage house due to a septic issue with the main manor. The carriage house is a smaller building on the property. “This property was great! We are already talking about going back during the summer. The highlight of our trip was the lake beach. Our kids enjoyed it, as we were lucky to have very nice weather in April. They got to play in the shallow end! The property itself is very clean, modern, and cozy. The property owner was very responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay! We had a great, relaxing getaway and didn’t want to leave. We hope to return soon! ”

“This was our third stay at Magnolia, the staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The stream is beautiful and they just opened a restaurant. The food was really good. My only complaint is a cleanliness. I would suggest that they do some quality control around the cleanliness because the lodge was not clean. The floor was extremely dirty. There was some hair in the top. I didn’t feel comfortable using the kitchen because it was not clean.. just something to focus on moving forward....
