“We felt welcome right away, they have a full bar, pickleball court and corn hole boards. Typical continental style breakfast was warm and well stocked. We appreciated the bourbon barrel style of the decorations. Would stay here again, the location is great for a home base.”

“When we checked in Friday, that was the only time the pool had towels. This definitely needs to be better maintained. The elevators need to be inspected - flicker lights constantly in one, and we got stuck in the other one for 30 seconds at one point. We did not request a handicap suite, but got one, which is fine. The room was clean and spacious. When we needed extra towels, they were brought up within 5 minutes. The breakfast spread was good, nice variety. HUGE ISSUE, and the reason this...

“Hotel room smelled like smoke, saw a bug on room ceiling. Staining like blood in the shower. Came back from concert at midnight. Nobody at front desk, rang desk bell. Manager clearly sleeping in back room came out to assist. I asked for additional blankets and pillows as there were not enough for two people. Manager said there were not additional blankets in the hotel. Once in the room, pulled back sheets and a spider crawled out from sheets and went behind the bed. Left immediately and drive 2...

“We enjoyed the location of the property and it was recently updated so it felt safe and clean. So much yo do in the town we will ho back when we have more time to explore.”

“We were very pleased with the Bourbon Capital Inn. The owners are working hard to restore the Inn and have done a great job. Our rooms (yes plural) were on the first floor area, so we were able to park in front of our rooms. There is is a "front" porch area (or veranda) that has very comfortable chairs and tables, which we used in the evenings to sit out and enjoy the mild spring weather. “To start the staff was very unfriendly and told us that Expedia had over booked the rooms and they were not sure they had a room for us. We booked in November 2025. They did finally find us a room after I asked if I should leave to try and find a room to which they said I could if I wanted but fearing I would lose my money which I had fully paid I chose to stay. We were also told the pool was not available which was part of why we chose this hotel and they said Expedia should have advised us. ...
