“Magnificent views… absolutely spectacular. Bed was a bit hard and springy and we stayed in the Penthouse with a pretty hefty price tag for a single night, so kind of expected lux comfort. Also, we had mentioned it was an anniversary stay, but we had a family room next door which kinda killed the vibe a bit when the toddler was hovering on the deck at 6ish in the morning. “Rundown,rubbish everywhere, first room offered smelt. Pool empty and rundown. At reception greeted by shuffling, man clad in a food stained singlet advertised photos were 10 years out of date and gave us false impression. We had paid online, but found another motel $20 cheaper which was clean, spacious. It was worth having to pay twice. ”

“We had a partial bay view on the first floor. It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The staff was helpful. We had breakfast at the restaurant on site and it was very good. We did not use the pool but it looked very nice. The hotel is located just above the downtown of Nelson's Bay. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the docks, restaurants and shops. We would certainly stay there in the future if we were back in Nelson's Bay. ”
