“You would be hard pressed to find a better space in the Ridgeway/Ouray area. There are always doubts when you book a place at first. Wondering if, or by how much, they got 'creative' with the photos. Here we found none of that. The cabin was just what we hoped for, and more. The views were great, place well put together and clean. A perfect spot for me and my beloved to spend a week away. A perfect place to be able to sit at peace.”

Mark and Sai take excellent care of this property and there have been several new additions since our last visit. “We took a hiking trip and stayed in Tara's amazing home. The house was larger than expected and the location was great, about halfway between Ridgeway and Ouray. The views of the San Juan mountains out of the back window made for an excellent breakfast each day. The host is top notch and kind.”

“Everything was wonderful, especially relaxing out on the deck enjoying the beautiful San Juan mountain range. We had our dog so we made sure we cleaned up upon departure including shaking out the rug, vacuuming and cleaning the home all around. I wish they had more pantry space and an oven, otherwise a perfect vacation.”

“Cute cottage with awesome views of the San Juan Mountains—uncompahgre peak, Sneffels, etc. Eight horses, ducks, goats, a pig in the petting zoo. Host Diana was a delight to work with. We knew the location so brought food rather than drive into Montrose or Ridgway for meals. Hope to get back for a Fall leaf season visit in Ouray County.”

“We had a great experience at the Elk Meadows property over New Years. The house is very well done with the kind of high end custom finishes you don't expect from a vacation rental. The straw bale construction is super warm and insulative and the views from the property are unbeatable! Absolutely gorgeous property and house. The driveway is very steep and even given the light snow this year was a bit dicey. People uncomfortable driving in winter snowy conditions on snow packed dirt roads may find...

“Exceptionally clean and pleasant accommodations. We are 60+ and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The bathroom and mini kitchen was very neat and clean. We slept incredibly well during our stay and the bed was very comfortable. As a further enjoyment watch for the deer near the northeast corner of Niagra and 6700. They were in the little patch of trees everyday! Thank you Catherine for the accommodations.”
